Before Hiccup or the Alphabetabears
came into being, I spent the previous
15 years concentrating in making sense of the world. Using drawing and painting as a way of explaining how our poor old world has been marred by the actions of generations of humans who raped the planet of vital plants and creatures.

This began with a spell of large oil paintings, followed by making my visual comments in a series of sketchbooks. One of the benefits of working this way was that I didn't have to exhibit my work and thus explaining what I was trying to say.

Currently, with Hiccup now well on his way, my attempts will be to return to painting again and hopefully, intersperse this with writing more about Hiccup and his teddy-bear friends.
